Associate Veterinarian needed for a mixed animal practice in West Salem, Ohio. Current practice make up consists primarily of dairy, followed by companion animal, beef, small ruminant, equine, and camelid medicine. Although all areas of growth in the practice exist depending on interest and skill set, the immediate needs are a backup for dairy, with an increased demand of services in small ruminant and companion animal medicine. The position available at this time is for a fourth veterinarian in the practice. Emergency on call is required but is shared equally by all veterinarians. A practice vehicle and equipment is supplied. Partial medical insurance is covered proportionally and equal to other staff members. A CE stipend and paid vacation time are available. A retirement plan is offered after appropriate time commitment in the practice.

The practice covers primarily the center of an area surrounded by the towns of Ashland, Medina, and Wooster, and is three miles off of Interstate 71, forty miles south of Cleveland. The current practice make up consists primarily of dairy, followed by companion animal, beef, small ruminant, equine, and camelid medicine. Fully equipped veterinary mobile units are provided for each veterinarian. Digital radiography,Idexx Catalyst blood machine, dentistry and surgery are some of the services offered in house. We are open 8-5 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8-5:30 on Tuesday and Thursday, and Saturday from 8-noon. On-call emergency is shared equally among all veterinarians on staff.
