Student DVM Advocate Position: Midwest Veterinary Partners Position Summary
Midwest Veterinary Partners Student DVM Advocate Program employs veterinary students to introduce their fellow classmates to variety of educational and professional opportunities at MVP’s growing network of small animal hospitals. At all times, the Student Advocate will serve as a positive and professional liaison between MVP and their college’s professional development office.
Primary job duties include: 1. Serve as an on campus liaison between MVP and veterinary student classmates and faculty 2. Inform MVP of all possible career and networking events associated with the college 3. Assist MVP in successfully outreaching to 75% or more of their graduating class. Examples of outreach include: email communications, networking events, off campus events, touch points etc. 4. Manage attendance expectations for all events hosted by MVP on or off campus 5. Facilitate contact between interested veterinary students and MVP throughout year for networking, externships, internships, shadowing and other career opportunities.

Position Requirements: Must be a currently enrolled veterinary student in an American Veterinary Medical Association – accredited college of veterinary medicine able to support MVP’s school networking process.
