To assist the Veterinarian in the diagnosis, treatment, anesthesia, and surgery of animal patients. To perform laboratory testing, radiology, treatments, vaccinations, and to dispense medications as directed by the Veterinarian. To inventory and maintain all equipment, instruments, drugs, and supplies necessary for diagnostics, treatment and surgery of animal patients. To perform secretarial duties and functions when necessary. To act as a liaison between the Veterinarian, Staff Receptionist, and Kennel Personnel by coordinating patient information between them and the client. To prepare patients, supplies, and instruments for surgery or treatment. To prepare all laboratory samples for shipment and to record all results when obtained. To Oversee ICU patient care and patient recovery areas.
