Want a rewarding career helping pets in under-served, high-poverty communities while working with a passionate, caring and fun team? We have the job for you!
Our goal is to keep pets with their loving families by keeping them healthy, thereby preventing them from being surrendered to shelters because of costly medical issues. We're looking for a mission-driven veterinarian to lead and grow our wellness services for income-qualified pet owners in under-served communities. We also provide free services for pets of homeless people and domestic violence victims. It is like operating your own business, but without the financial risks and without ever having to talk to clients about cost! You get to work with clients who are very appreciative of the services that we provide for their pets. As a nonprofit, we obtain grants to cover all or a portion of the services our clients need. There are few jobs like this, where you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a huge difference in our community by helping families and their pets stay together.
Competitive benefits for full-time employees include PTO, paid license and AVMA membership fees, paid holidays, medical, dental and life insurance, substantially discounted services for personal pets, and a 401(k) plan with an employer match.
