As an IDEXX employee, you will become a trusted advisor to our customers on all of our products and services. As a Field Support Representative (“FSR”) on the Imaging Team, you would be primarily responsible for the installation and service of IDEXX’s Radiography related products and educating our customers on the proper utilization of the software and workflow. IDEXX’s CR and DR imaging products are paired with and customized to work with the customer’s existing x-ray generator and practice management software. While onsite for any technical needs, the FSR also helps build strong customer relationships and works closely with their sales partners and the IDEXX Customer Support Team to ensure delivery of the best customer experience in every situation.
The FSR role is a field-based and customer-facing position. You will prepare for your customer visits to your home office and travel to multiple customer locations throughout the week. While each project varies in scope, the common core is the positive interaction and clear communication you provide to our customers at each and every visit. You will utilize a wide array of programs to strategize and document your visits. You are accountable for managing your schedule based on the unique attributes and needs of your customers, while also keeping a focus on your own professional development and growth.

What do you need to succeed?
To be successful in this role you will need to possess a minimum of three (3) years veterinary clinic experience with a training and/or leadership background preferred. As this is a highly technical role, previous experience operating x-ray generators, digital radiography systems, and basic computer networking skills are highly preferred. You must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers, management, and peers. You need to be able to build strong customer and peer partnerships that allow you to gain confidence and trust from others easily. Essential to success is the ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions. It is imperative that you have effective listening skills that are utilized to discover customers' needs to adapt your approach and demeanor to different situations.
