Associate Veterinarian

Looking for an excited, team oriented associate veterinarian to join an established group of small animal practices in Northwest PA and Northeast OH. Three veterinary clinics are near the Pennsylvania and Ohio border with many local activities to enjoy. Clinics are Animal Hospital of Meadville, Albion Animal Center and Western Reserve Animal Clinic which are under the "clinic family" of Pine Hollow Veterinary Services.  All clinics have access to an interstate, yet the closeness of a peaceful drive down a country dirt road or Main Street America.  

Team/Family atmosphere with generous pay.  Full or Part-time available.

The clinics practice a high standard of veterinary medicine and include many technologies such as 

  • Digital radiology - including digital dental
  • Therapy laser
  • Cautery
  • Ultrasound
  • High-speed dental units
  • In-house Idexx laboratory.

General services include but not limited to

  • Preventative Wellness Care
  • Internal Medicine
  • Dentistry
  • Surgery
  • Limited Emergency Care - during clinic hours.  

Our ideal candidate:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university. 
  • Possess effective communication skills - written and oral - to educate clients, maintain medical records and effectively lead team. 
  • Time management to prioritize what is presented and what needs to be executed efficiently. 
  • The desire and commitment to practice the best medical standards and quality patient care.
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics and medical procedures
  • Characteristics of a team player and leader, along with a professional work ethic.
  • Build rapport with clients.


All experience levels are welcome to apply.  The associate veterinarian will go through a personalized mentorship program.  Doctors meet monthly in a relaxed setting. Pine Hollow Veterinary Services owns Albion Animal Center, Western Reserve Animal Clinic and Animal Hospital of Meadville. Albion Animal Center is nestled in the heart of Albion, PA. The clinic sees an array of small animal patients and has the feeling of small town warmth. Western Reserve Animal Clinic is located on a rural highway in Pierpont, OH and sees small animals patients with an occasional large animal call for in clinic services. This clinic offers the closeness to all due to being located on a major highway but the peacefulness of a nearby dirt road. Animal Hospital of Meadville is a gem tucked in Meadville, PA and sees small animal patients. This clinic is located near Interstate 79 and State Route 322 with the convenience of ease of access to all venues of small and big town.
