We have opportunities for 4-6 students, or recent graduates, to participate in either our internship program or for a your externship rotations. We have the longest running, structured, most successful small animal general practice mentorship program in the country. We are a very busy, multi location practice in the suburbs of Cincinnati, OH who have created an environment and culture of training and mentorship. We are comprised of 12+ associates who truly love to teach students and new graduates.

It takes 2 things to master your craft – no matter what it is. It takes great instruction as well as the opportunity to practice your craft enough until it is mastered. If you don’t get good instruction but have lots of practice, it’s possible that you are making the same mistakes repeatedly. If you get great instruction but little practice, your newly taught skills will deteriorate. This is why our mentorship program has proven to be so successful: we have a team of experienced mentors that love to teach and coach and a caseload that surpasses many veterinary schools. Our mentorship program is structured so you know what skills you have been exposed to, what skills you can do with help, and then what skills you have mastered. You will be given the opportunity to manage your own cases (with help, if needed, of course) and perform every surgery in which excellent general practitioners should be expected to be competent. You will be given the skills to command top dollar at your next position (or with us) because you will be experienced and competent... and way ahead of your peers.

And, there is no obligation or expectation that you stay beyond your year – although many have opted to do so because our business is made up of great people and management who love what they do. We have an amazing staff.
