Are you interested in experiencing real world veterinary medicine at a terrific, INDEPENDENT, newly renovated practice located near happening Easton PA (no less then 4 independent breweries, outstanding independently owned restaurants, hiking and biking trails, access to the Delaware River) with a dedicated group of individuals...Progressive, 24 hour small animal general and emergency hospital located in Phillipsburg NJ is interested in a well motivated, fun loving veterinary student to help further our ideals of veterinary medical excellence for this student externship program. Our focus is on comprehensive small animal medicine, and as such we employ all available diagnostic modalities such as on-site digital radiography, digital dental XR with high speed dental unit, ultrasonography, blood chemistries, diagnostic ECG, blood pressure, tonometry, snap testing, etc, replete complement of pain management modalities, as well as utilizing outside resources such as our local reference laboratory.  Our newly renovated, 4000+ sq ft hospital also contracts with board certified surgeons and internal medicine specialists who provide on site services to promote the highest level of patient care.

The hospital is ideally situated near Easton, Pennsylvania, close to excellent restaurants, 1 hour to NYC and 1.5 hours to Philadelphia and the NJ beaches, and is a great area for biking, hiking, and raising a family. 

Our practice philosophy recognizes the need for veterinary medicine to be mindful of sustainability, and as such our hospital utilizes solar power to reduce fossil fuel demand, recycles all glass, office paper, plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, as well utilizing low molecular weight, degradable plastic bags.
