Full time veterinarian wanted at an independent privately owned AAHA accredited animal clinic.  Ridgeview Animal Clinic is a fun family work environment.  The team of technicians, assistants and CSRs are dedicated to helping animals and the veterinarians who direct their care. 

As a full-service veterinary clinic, Ridgeview Animal Clinic has all the latest diagnostic equipment one would expect.  We have digital full body and dental radiograph equipment that was just upgraded in October 2021.  Abaxis/Zoetis in house chemistry and CBC machines work with our Covetrus Infinity computer software. We recently installed Imagist from Zoetis for AI reading for intestinal parasite screenings. In November, we will be one of the first clinics to use Imagist for stat cytology from a pathologist.  Our Ultrasound unit is very mobile and can easily be moved into any of our four exam rooms.  Tonometry and the Zoetis Vetscan SA for urinalysis rounds out our diagnostic repertoire. 

Our Dentalaire high speed drill complements our radiograph equipment nicely.  We use surgical laser for all of our surgeries.  All patients are given therapeutic laser after surgery.  To have the clinic flow smoothly we schedule more than two assistants for each veterinarian.  Our awesome crew can draw blood, place catheters, monitor anesthesia and restrain pets with gentle firmness to make everyone happy. 

Ridgeview is located in New Albany, Indiana.  We are one minute from the I-64 interstate, which makes getting to the clinic quick and easy.  The clinic’s property is surrounded by apple and persimmon orchard in a park like setting.  Most of us enjoy eating our lunch under the clinic’s maple and oak trees at our picnic table.  However, we are only 8 minutes from downtown Louisville, where you can go for theatrical plays at the Kentucky Center for the Arts.  The University of Louisville Cardinals play basketball at the YUM center which host numerous concerts and events.  Plenty of outdoor activity are available with the New Albany Greenway for recreational enjoyment.  Life is good on the Sunny Side of Louisville, with milder winters than most of Indiana. 

Our well-established client base affords us to pay an excellent salary along with many benefits. We have two weeks of vacation plus an additional week for CE.  $3000 CE allowance, matching IRA plans and medical insurance are included as well. All of the necessities of practice are paid such as licensing, professional liability insurance and VIN membership. Life insurance and disability insurance that we give is for peace of mind.  Signing bonus is $15,000.
