We are a privately owned and well established (40+ years) small animal practice in Virginia Beach, VA. We are looking to add a new full time associate who has a passion for practicing quality medicine and excels in communication with clients and coworkers. We are a team oriented practice that collaborates frequently on complicated cases and surgeries, and well equipped with CO2 surgical laser, cold therapeutic laser, digital X-rays, dental x-rays, in house blood analyzer and Sedivue UA analyzer. We also utilize local specialists that provide mobile services (cardiology and internal medicine) on a regular basis. Our practice philosophy is to enjoy our profession, but we greatly value work-life balance. Our staff of 7 full and part time veterinarians allows for flexible scheduling to accommodate a reasonable weekend rotation and a weekday off as well as ample paid vacation time. Our practice is located in the Northeast section of Virginia Beach near the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean with easy access to many outdoor activities (surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding). No after hour commitments required as we are surrounded by three well equipped emergency centers. We offer a competitive salary with a generous benefit package. New grads encouraged to apply.
