Care Center, located in Cincinnati, OH, is currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Hospitalist to join its successful, growing team! This person will work with the emergency team, assisting in the intake and management of hospitalized emergency patients, creating and recommending treatment plans, maintaining and updating medical records and facilitating transfers to the appropriate specialty service as needed. Looking to enjoy the best of the Midwest? Come join our amazing team of tenured ER doctors, dedicated specialists and support staff!
The Veterinary Hospitalist will work directly with our emergency and critical care department. Their primary responsibility will be to receive transfers from the emergency veterinarians that require hospitalization. Secondary responsibility would include receiving minor follow up appointments that come through as “same day emergencies” as well as low acuity emergencies (i.e., urgent care).
