EquidDoc Veterinary Services, LLC is the premier large animal ambulatory practice in central Massachusetts providing a full range of services to our patients; from the highly competitive equine to the backyard pet goat. 

EquidDoc is seeking a highly qualified and energetic veterinary technician to promote our mission of providing our clients with comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to meet their unique needs.  As a member of our TEAM, your duties will include:

• Competently and confidently handle and restrain patients with emphasis on safety
• Assist with radiographic, ultrasound and endoscopy procedures including equipment setup, breakdown, and cleaning, requiring ability to carry items weighing up to 50lbs
• Clearly and succinctly explain instructions to clients for medications and treatments
• Assist with entering medical records data into the clinic information system with attention to detail and accuracy 
• Stock inventory and clean instruments and equipment within practice vehicles
• Prepare and label patient medications for dispensing
• Process, prepare and package laboratory samples for submission to lab

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Veterinary Technician Degree (associates or bachelors), preference given to Massachusetts CVT or eligible.
• Veterinary Practice workplace experience, will consider new graduate with strong externship experience. 
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience handling and working with horses
• The following character traits are a MUST:
  • Positive energy / Self-reliant / Able to Organize and re-organize on the fly
  • Ability to remain calm & composed during emergencies
  • Strong Initiative / Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Punctual and efficient in task completion
