Edinburgh Pet Health Center is an AAHA-accredited and Feline Friendly small animal practice seeking a FT or PT fun-loving veterinarian to join us!  New Grads Welcome!   EPHC has been providing high-quality and compassionate care for 30 years in the Brooklyn Park community.
But here’s what you really need to know: We are not corporate. We are well-staffed, fun to be around
and supportive of each other. We care about quality medicine but we also care about culture and
work-life balance. Clients are important, but so are our employees. The owner is always there to listen,
laugh, help and commiserate with you. The first Friday of every month we have a staff meeting and close
at noon for the rest of the day! We’re known for closing for an entire day for staff field trips. There are lots
of free lunches. The candy and caffeine supply is bottomless. You are required to take a “Dogwarts” quiz
upon arrival to determine which house you belong to. The owner is a Hufflepuff which is also a good
sign. Each month our houses compete for cool prizes. Recently, our Hufflepuff, McKenzie, won a $100
gift card to Texas Roadhouse! Afternoon appointments are always 40 minutes because, yes, we all get
tired. Puppy appointments are 40-60 minutes long, because…puppy. There is a two-hour long break in
the middle of each full work day. Full-time consists of a 4-day work week with only one 8AM-12PM
Saturday shift per month. The owner does two (once again, Hufflepuff). We are on a first-name basis and
everyone is treated with respect regardless of job title. We don’t wear stuffy lab coats. Fun fact: almost
half of our staff drive 30-45 minutes to and from work every day. It’s really worth it! Some clients even
drive all the way from Chicago and Colorado to see us!
We also offer a retirement plan with a guaranteed 3% employer match. Health insurance with 80%
premiums paid by employer (BlueCross/BlueShield, Delta Dental, Spirit Vision). Generous PTO (plus
additional earned PTO) & holiday pay. Excellent CE and professional membership stipends.
Starting base salary for full-time new grads is $90,000 or commensurate with experience. New grads are
welcome! We offer a straight salary as opposed to ProSal so that you can practice medicine the way you
want, without any of the pressures of production, quotas or accrual. Full benefits and bonuses are in
addition to the base salary.
Other minor details: You will get to work in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility with a comprehensive
IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiology systems (with board-certified rad reports), portable Butterfly
ultrasound unit, full dental/surgical suites and mobile ultrasound and surgery services.
