The Wellsboro Small Animal Hospital is currently expanding capabilities by adding on a CT suite and is looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian for general practice. Flexible work schedule with 3 or 4 day work week options if desired, along with competitive salary. We are also looking for an internist, as well as an emergency doctor (boarded certified or general practitioner with interest). Mentorship happily provided. About Wellsboro Small Animal Hospital

The privately-owned Wellsboro Small Animal Hospital (WSAH) was established in 1985, which expanded in 1987 to include the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC). In 2012, the main hospital (WSAH) was moved into an approximately 11,000 square foot building. WSAH features multiple exam rooms, a dental suite with digital intraoral x-ray, two surgery suites, anesthesia preparation and recovery area, dedicated isolation room, dog ward, cat ward, large treatment area with Idexx laboratory equipment, ultrasound, and digital radiography. WSAH recently purchased a 32-slice Cannon/Toshiba Computed Tomography (CT) Machine. Construction of a dedicated CT suite is scheduled for Spring 2023. VMC is our satellite location, housing two exam rooms, one surgery suite, anesthesia preparation and recovery area, treatment area with Idexx laboratory equipment and computed radiography, dog ward, and cat ward.
