VCA Cat Hospital of Chicago is seeking a people-oriented DVM (PT or F/T 20-30+ hrs/wk) to join our team of four veterinarians and 20+-member support team (including 5 CVTs).  Experience in feline medicine/surgery ideal, but feline-enthusiastic new grads welcomed!  We are a fully equipped AAFP Gold Standard Cat Friendly, AAHA Accredited Practice with a strong focus on internal medicine and dentistry, including radioactive iodine services for treatment of feline hyperthyroidism.  A traveling cardiologist visits us as needed (once or twice each month) to perform on-site echocardiograms for patients we have referred.  A traveling ACVIM boarded internist also visits as needed (2-3 times monthly) to perform abdominal ultrasounds and/or scoping services on site for patients we have referred.   We are keen on introducing technology and working with local shelters.  We are frequently involved in feline clinical trials through VCA’s Clinical Trial Department.   Our dedicated client base continues to grow.

Applicants must have a strong interest in and passion for feline internal medicine/behavior/surgery and must be team players with good communication skills.  Dental skills and/or interest a plus.
