Rogersville Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in beautiful upper East Tennessee. Rogersville is a small, rural community and we also serve a large radius of the surrounding areas. The atmosphere and clientele here are very laid back and down-to-earth. We are a low-cost, high-volume veterinary hospital and we take a limited number of walk-ins. Although we are a busy practice, our hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and we close at noon on Wednesdays , so our full-time veterinarians typically work 32 to 35 hours a week, which is very nice! We use Avimark and paperless patient records. In-house diagnostic capabilities include digital radiology and Abaxis blood chemistry (including cortisol testing) and CBC machines. We have a fully equipped surgical suite with pulse-oximeter and esophageal stethoscope for monitoring patients. We see many interesting medical and surgical cases here and we also have limited orthopedic surgery capabilities. We maintain good relationships with nearby veterinary clinics and hospitals and have several great options for referral when needed.
Our priority is to provide quality care for all patients and to support our clients as they make important and sometimes very difficult decisions for their beloved pets. We try to meet our clients wherever they are financially and otherwise. Rogersville Animal Hospital has been part of our community for over 75 years and we strive to help the people in our area however we can! Just as important to us is maintaining a good work environment and work-life balance for everyone. We strive to maintain an efficient and productive environment while also being fun and laid back, a place where we respect and help each other and try to keep things as light as possible.
