Do you want to make a difference in your campus community while developing communication and leadership skills? As a Heart + Paw Student Ambassador, you will collaborate as a member of our team to plan and host educational events, offer guidance to your peers, and get unique access to the Heart + Paw network of veterinary professionals, building your resume and separating yourself from the pack.
Student Ambassadors act as Heart + Paw’s on-campus ambassador for a school calendar year. You will routinely interact with fellow students to showcase Heart + Paw’s opportunities, externships and summer jobs program.
Our Student Ambassador’s have top priority for available externships as well as an opportunity to network with collaborative Veterinarians. No recruiting occurs in this role.
Required Task:
Act as an on-campus brand ambassador.
Inform Heart + Paw of any career fair or campus events.
Answer questions from fellow student pertaining to externships/summer jobs.
Coordinate Fall/Spring student body events with assistance from Heart + Paw Talent Acquisition Partner.
Attend Student Ambassador specific webinars.
Assist with career fairs or booths for events.
Requirements:
Be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary school.
Current 1st - 4th year student in good standing.
GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred.
One year minimum commitment, participation until graduation preferred.
You are authorized to work in the United States.
