Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian needed in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian with a vision to help grow our hospital, North Versailles Veterinary Care, while advancing our quality of care. The Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian is primarily responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Managing Veterinarian is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are consistently delivered to our clients and their pets.
Additionally, the Managing Veterinarian is expected to partner with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance and general operations of the hospital and to more broadly cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment. This hospital-level team is supported by their Keystone Empire Divisional Leadership who provides practice management training, reporting, and ongoing resources to develop a best-in-class hospital.
We are located in the North Versailles area of Pittsburgh and are a full-service animal hospital. Some exciting news in the works is that we are in the process of a full hospital renovation and rebranding. Our new state of the art facility will include an updated surgical suite and dental suite. If you’re an experienced Veterinarian (at least 2 years out of vet school) who’s flexible, open-minded, and passionate about creating a vibrate practice, we want to hear from you!

Skills and Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in Pennsylvania.
