San Clemente Veterinary Hospital is looking to add an experienced veterinarian to our team. Come work in our award-winning facility on a team that appreciates the value of each individual while at the same time works as a unit and still makes space for fun. Our culture supports learning and personal growth in every aspect of our hospital. As a progressive, AAHA accredited practice, we provide excellent patient/client care to our area’s canines and felines. We are dedicated to our community and support the local Pet Project Foundation.
Mentoring is available but limited to doctor’s schedules, so this position would be a good fit for a veterinarian with some level of experience. We have access to board certified surgeons to assist with the most complex procedures. One of our doctors offers holistic care, she provides nutrition counseling, acupuncture, aquapuncture, and alternative therapies for our patients.
This position works four 10-hour days with some weekend shifts. There are no on-call hours and we understand and respect work-life balance. We want our employees to love their time at our hospital while developing skills to be the best they can be.
San Clemente in Orange County, is a true beach city with a small-town feel. With Spanish inspired architecture and design everywhere, it is a unique and relaxing place to live and work. Along with serene beaches, there are a number of great restaurants, coffee shops, and parks with access to multiple outdoor activities.
We offer a competitive salary, medical benefits (including health, dental, and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, mentorship and so much more.
The salary for this position can range between $150,000-$175,000 + annually for a 40-hour work week (4/10s) and will be determined based on previous experience, skill set, and practice type.
