Join our thriving, fear-free veterinary practice, MetroPet Veterinary Clinic, in a fantastic location just outside of Cleveland, Ohio! We are a well-established, forward-thinking, and non-corporate clinic that takes pride in providing quality, compassionate, and progressive veterinary care. We're looking for an associate veterinarian who is not only fun-loving but also an excellent communicator, compassionate, and eager to learn and grow alongside our expanding practice. Services We Provide:
Our clinic benefits from its proximity to a progressive college town with a well-educated clientele who prioritize their pets' health and readily agree to routine monitoring and diagnostic work-ups. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, including digital radiographs, ultrasound capabilities, digital dental radiography, and a comprehensive range of in-house and send-out lab work options. Additionally, we utilize advanced tools for diagnostics and treatment, such as microscopy, cytology, laser surgery, and laser therapy, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
About the Area:
Our entire team, including doctors and registered veterinary technicians (RVTs), is fear-free certified, with some vet assistants also on the path to certification this year. We're located in a charming suburb on the southwest side of Cleveland, Ohio, just across the street from one of the nation's largest Metroparks systems.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to pocket pets and reptiles
Performing soft tissue surgeries, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and dental procedures
Participating in meetings to establish and uphold top-notch medical protocols
Open and respectful communication with both staff and clients
Maintaining comprehensive medical records

Compensation:
Starting competitive salary of $120,000-$135,000
