Come join a fun progressive 100% ambulatory equine and livestock practice set in beautiful Mendocino County, California! I am searching for an associate who wants to practice high quality medicine with an emphasis on client education. A desirable candidate is someone who is interested in all aspects of primary care including; wellness/preventative medicine, lameness, dentistry and emergency medicine. The practice is 65% equine, 25% small ruminant, and 10% cattle with the miscellaneous llama, 4H pig and ranch dog. The practice is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, power dentistry and cloud-based software to make invoicing and charts convenient. We also have pro-stride, shockwave and pulsator IV electro-ejaculator. 

The successful candidate should be confident and personable, with excellent communication skills, as well as being dedicated to their profession. The work schedule would include a 4 day work week or more if desired with alternating on-call. The associate will be compensated depending on experience. Additionally, PLIT, AVMA, AAEP and CA license will be paid for by the practice. A health insurance stipend will be given monthly and $2,000 annually to assist with CE costs. A fully equipped vet truck and box will be supplied. If you currently have a truck and box; supplies and compensation will be provided. Additionally, the practice is in an underserved area and qualifies for Veterinary Medical Loan Repayment Plan. 

The practice covers all of Mendocino County and has some of the most beautiful landscapes in California including; the Pacific Ocean, a region famous for viticulture and the renowned redwood forests.
